09 Mar 2010 · 0.39 MB · The ability to safely evacuate passengers is an essential requirement in the event of an emergency. The vital act relies, primarily, on vision. If the evacuation is a result of a fire, will generate smoke or fumes, the sense that is first affected is sight, rendering the exit lights above the doors invisible. Is there an alternative?
